Bongos, bongos, bongos!!! 

I could write a book on the subject.

 Let's start with this 1957 LP by Jack (Bongo) Burger titled "...The End On Bongos!"

The music is pretty terrible, but what a great cover! 

 

Apparently the artwork was not appreciated in Australia, and they felt a need to release this censored version instead.

Anybody know of a place that has Bongo Burgers on the menu?

 

The real reason I'm here is to tell you about this Mini LP by the band called The Bongos in 1983 titled "Numbers With Wings." 

The Bongos had some degree of success, at least enough to keep them going for a number of albums and singles, but they are still basically unknown to the majority of the population.

Here's a song that's a little different from most jangly 80's Pop Rock, and it even actually has bongos in it.
