LAWRENCE SALVATORE - "Strut" (1987)

The 8th cassette I sent out went to a Mr. Lawrence Salvatore in Joliet, Illinois. Lawrence was an interesting cat who had his music reviewed in Option magazine, and it seemed like he was a game tape trader, which was true, and he sent me a copy of this release of his called "My Leg In Love With Your Leg," from which the following Sheena Easton cover came from! Get ready to be amazed!

This is a flyer from one of his shows. We met Al at a different show one night in Hollywood when he was opening for The Lazy Cowgirls at RAJ's, it was a fun evening!

BRET HART - "Shiny Shiny" (1987)

The 3rd and 4th copies of "The Worm's Turn" went out to a guitarist named Bret Hart in Maryland! Bret was not only a musician, he was also a music reviewer for OPTION magazine, one of the few fairly mainstream magazines that was reviewing cassette releases at the time! Bret returned the favor by sending me this this tape entitled "Shiny Shiny" from which I'm giving you the first song from the B side, "Friend Of The Nile!"                           We thought we were weird, but we had a lot to learn!!!

MARK HANLEY - KX4CS15 (1989)

I didn't realize how much Ohio rocked until I started trading tapes! Mark Hanley and Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini were both from Youngstown, Ohio, and both champions in their own way! Mark Hanley's music was at least 25 years ahead of it's time, in fact, it's probably still ahead of it's time! Here's "A1" from his 1989 release titled "KXCS15!" Enjoy!
