THE MIRACLE - "Dingsters At The Break Of Dong/Jammus Interuptus" (1991)

Here's something we could all use right about now, a Miracle!

"Dingsters At The Break Of Dong/Jammus Interuptus" was a 1991 tape released on the "Sound Of Pig Music" label from Al Margolis.

The Miracle was a jam session put together by Little Fyodor in Boulder, Colorado, and featured the likes of Leo Goya, Jeanne Strzelewicz, Gorge Stone, Joe Ketola, Evan Cantor, Ed Fowler, Lauren Swain, Miles White, John Nichols, Peter Tonks, and Mr. Fyodor himself!

These are some long jams, so here's an excerpt from an excerpt!

JEREMY GLUCK - MENTAL ANGUISH - THE TAPEGERM COLLECTIVE - "The Point Is It's Only A Dream You See" (2010)

What did Sosumi say? "This is supposed to be fun," so here you go,
Mental Anguish Plus!

This is a bit of progressive electronica with a middle eastern feel from Chris Phinney and his pal Jeremy Gluck who is also the lead singer of The Barracudas!

There's no need to talk about how versatile Chris Phinney is, it's much easier and enjoyable to just listen to this, and find out for yourself!

DRAGON BREATH - "Austin Poets Audio Anthology Project Volume III (1990)

This compilation tape of various poets from Austin, Texas was given to me by the woman who produced it, Hedwig Gorski!

"Dragon Breath" was released in 1990 and featured poets Akwase Evan, Robin Plan, Jorge Renaud, John Wright, David Jewell, Greg Gauntner, and my favorite out of the bunch for obvious reasons....

MENTAL ANGUISH - "That Big Old Eye In The Sky" (2006)

t
Chis Phinney has had his "Harsh Reality" label up and running since 1982, and has produced and distributed more than 350 releases since then!
Mental Anguish - "That Big Old Eye In The Sky" is a CD recorded by Chris in 2005 - 2006,  that was mixed, mastered, and recorded at Harsh Reality Music in Memphis, Tennessee.
Chris has been kind enough to share this extremely cool tune with us, and could use a little financial help since he was hit by an uninsured motorist in Memphis last year, so why not turn around and do the same for him, your cat will be very proud of you!
Here's a link to a Gofundme Page for Chris! Anything helps!

ROOM 101 - "Red No. Five" (1983)

Mark Hanley is one prolific son of a gun, solo projects, bands, and still going strong today!
This is a 45 he sent me probably around 1988 or 89.  It was recorded in 1983, but the 45 wasn't pressed until 1987. What a great cover, if that doesn't suck you in, then nothing will!

Room 101, or The Room 101 consisted of Mark Hanley on Guitar, Herb Somers on Bass, Robert Shields on Drums, and Jenny Junif playing Keys and Sax.
They Rocked!!
