BRUISER BRODY FOREVER - "Brody Rules" (1989)

Before the internet, dissemination of information was done completely differently. If you wanted to know something, you either had to see it on TV, hear it on the radio, read about it in a newspaper or magazine, or go to the library and look it up for yourself. One of the fun things about tape trading in the 80's and 90's was you never knew what you were going to find in your mailbox, whether it was a bottle of vodka from Bulgaria, or maybe just some information that somebody thought you needed to know like the life and death of professional wrassler Bruiser Brody!

"The Wild Life and Tragic Death of Bruiser Brody" is just that. Bruiser was a little different, and even though everybody knows professional wrestling is choreographed, some times Bruiser didn't feel like losing, and didn't want to play by the rules!

Bruiser Brody's  real name was Frank Donald Goodish, and he would have been 74 next month if he hadn't been stabbed to death when he was 42.
You can read the whole story right HERE!!

And that's a little more about networking some 30 years ago!
One thing that hasn't changed though is the fact that

JOE E. SHEETS - "Artiste Extraordinaire" (1992)

I thought it was about time to show you some more!

I figure I didn't save all this stuff for nothing, so here's a whole lot of eye candy from the very busy pen of Mr. Sheets!

You just can't keep stuff like this in a box in the garage and not let people see it!

At least I can't!
This is Very Freaky!!

I'm pretty sure Joe is alive and well, living on a secluded island in the Pacific somewhere, maybe!

Or at least I hope so!

"Part 33 1/3"

Jeez, maybe Joe is some kind of Nostradamus, because this guy is looking more and more like me every day!

It's pretty amazing what some people can do with so little!

Most of these are copies Joe sent me of his work, but this was an original piece! Probably did it in his sleep!

Music and art, what would the world be without it?
Thanx Joe!!!

BOB BUNCE - "Blues 4 A Tired Planet" (1990)

Bob Bunce is a guitarist from upstate New York with some genuine environmental beefs that he expresses through his music.

"Blues For a Tired Planet" is just that! With songs like "Dump Blues," and "Hole In The Ozone," Bob brings forth issues that still need to be dealt with, some thirty-one years later!

A Multi-talented guy making multi-faceted music with a message, that's Bob Bunce!

THE HOBOS 3RD GOLDNOSE - "Self-Titled" (1988)

I think I got this tape sometime in 1988 or 89, and I can't remember a whole lot about it, except they were from Germany, and it was sent to me by Claus Korn. That used to happen a lot.
The band had what I thought was a strange name, "The Hobos 3rd Goldnose," and I have to admit that to this day, I still don't know what it means!

But the name doesn't matter when the band is as interesting as this one, and that's about all I got for you! So without further adieu, here they are.......Tighten Up Your Seat Belt, cause these guys rock!

POINT*NO*POINT - "From The Rightsly Side" (1989)

I just remembered that I had another Point*No*Point cassette sent to me by Rich Horton I needed to put up here, so finally, here's the self-titled "Point*No*Point" cassette from 1989....

This tape has got some good music on it put together by Rich Horton, Lance Morgan, Marc Strader, and Phil Stewart up in Seattle, Washington.

Here's a cool promo shot of the guys.

Maybe if you write Rich at richiro51@yahoo.com, he might find you a copy hidden in a closet somewhere he'll sell you, or better yet, if the company that just released his last CD gets enough cards and letters, maybe the nice folks at Kool Kat Records will release this tape as a CD!

Until then, here's a kool kut from the 'Rightsly' Side that was written by Lance Morgan.

GODSPUNK VOLUME TWENTY-TWO - "Two Disc Various Artists Compilation" (2021) Disc 02

Might as well keep going from where I left off last month, so here's something from Disc 02 of "Godspunk Volume 22" courtesy of  the ringmaster running the whole Pumf circus, pStan Batcow.

Now since it's Cinco de Mayo, I probably should have picked the song "Jorge and Tony" by Hermanos Guzanos, but the day's almost over, and I might have already had one too many Margaritas, so instead, here's........................
AND if you just can't get enough Pumf in your life,
