I am not the biggest fan of Bob Seger, but I love this very ice blue cold album cover, and there is a song on this record from 1969, that is one of my all-time favorites, period. Fifty-six years later, and it still resonates with me with it's pounding drums, swirling organ, and Bob's assertive vocals and lyrics. This song is rock and roll perfection in my book!
"You can have your funky world, see ya 'round!"

This was the first song I ever heard by Bob Seger, and I immediately fell in love with it, with that pumping Hammond organ, the four-on-the-floor rock drumming, and the catchy background vocals on the refrain supporting Bob's soulful voice. After such a rocking introduction, I gotta admit that I wasn't nearly as impressed with Bob's navel-gazing mid-'70s stuff.
