The Sweetles were an all female Beatles tribute band from Germany, and in 1964 they had a top 40 hit there with "Ich Wünsch' Mir Zum Geburtstag Einen Beatle."
Great! These girls are better than the vast majority of Beatles Pretenders who flooded the market in 1964. They obviously nick a couple of Beatles tunes in this catchy ditty but still do it without completely ripping off Lennon/McCartney, and they play their instruments very well.
