I just found out that Los Pink Cheese Green Goes will be playing in a local Wings joint here in a couple of months, and I thought they had an interesting name so I looked them up. Anybody with even a rudimentary grasp of the Spanish language should be able to figure out what the Mexican/English play on words their name is.
Like Carne Asada, Los Pink Cheese Green Goes are basically an Anglo punk band, but the lead singer sings in Spanish.
I couldn't see that Los Pink Cheese Green Goes have any record releases, but there are quite a few herky jerky videos of their songs on YouTube, but the one I found most interesting was when they joined up with Beto Tlahuetl of Grupo Soñador.
Beto is a pioneer of the keyboard and synth heavy
cumbia poblana, and Grupo Soñado was formed in 1998 by Beto and his brother Richie, and these days the group includes Beto's daughters Lucero and
Maritza Tlahuetl.
While some people might consider Los Pink Green Goes to be payasos, they are not joking around on this song and show just how talented they really are.
If you want something more hard and fast, then check out some of their other songs.
